What are the benefits:

It is becoming increasingly important that an organisation needs to be sure of the sound mental, emotional and physical well-being of its employees. Research suggests as many as 12% of employees are troubled by some major concern at any given time. The resultant mental illness, substance abuse or other behavioural problems can have a large impact on organisational well-being.  This may be in terms of increased absenteeism, work accidents, compensation claims, decreased productivity and lowering or morale.

EAP’s are consistently shown to reduce absenteeism and accidents, reduce staff turnover, increase productivity and create a far more dynamic corporate culture. Research shows that for every corporate dollar spent on an EAP, three to five dollars are saved. More than 4 million Australians are now covered by a workplace Employee Assistance Program.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a specific support strategy utilised by many organisations. Critical Incident Response (REAP SUPPORT)

Every organisation will experience some type of crisis or  tragedy in the workplace at some point, whether it be workplace conflict, redundancy or unexpected violence or accidental death or injury. At the READ Clinic we realise that organisations need immediate support and response from trained personnel when such incidents arise and we are available to respond to your organisation within 24 hours of making contact. This response might include discussions with management, group support, individual sessions or a combination of interventions, that can be provided at your workplace.

You can be assured that the READ Clinic will make your employees and organisation feel respected and cared for by providing you with a psychologist with the skills and experience to deal with critical incidents.
