Emma is a Registered Psychologist who commenced working at READ Clinic in 2017
Emma graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014 with honours (1st class). Since then, she has worked with children, families, and adults in a number of settings. Emma develops personalised treatment plans based on a client’s individual needs, strengths, and challenges. She has experience in conducting psychoeducational and behavioural assessments as well as interventions across the lifespan.
Emma uses a client centred approach to treatment and works collaboratively with each client to provide evidence based interventions including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
