The R.E.A.D. Clinic was established 25 years ago by Australia's leading child psychologist, author and media personality, Dr John Irvine, and his brother, Clinical Neuropsychologist, Warwick Irvine. Both John and Warwick come from educational backgrounds and are family-oriented. The Clinic was originally formed to assist children with learning, behavioural and emotional difficulties. 

Today the Clinic is the longest established and largest private psychology practice on the NSW Central Coast and is much more diverse in the services that it offers.  As you will see when navigating through the website, the Clinic now boasts many specialist clinicians, and hence offers a greater variety of services, whilst maintaining a personal, professional approach.

Our 2009 Series of Workshops and Seminars have just been opened up for registrations. More information is available under the 'services' section. Get in early as places are limited.

In March 2009 we are embarking on a very exciting project, The READ Clinic's Psychologist's Registration Program. This 2 year part time program is offered to graduates with a 4 year psychology degree. Please follow the link above or look under 'services' on the above menu for further information.
